There are a ton of different things you can do in Destiny 2. From playing through campaigns, to PVP, to fishing. One of my favorites though, is the Dungeons. To me, they provide a fun challenge with some interesting mechanics outside of just shooting a lot of enemies. Now don’t get me wrong, you’ll still be doing a ton of shooting, but the dungeons add more into the mix.
At their core, dungeons are player vs environment challenges that are more intense and complicated than the strikes and campaigns, but also don’t require the same level of commitment and knowledge that the 6 person raids do. This makes them a nice middle ground for those players looking to branch out from the easier content without having to find a coordinated team of 6 players and know all the mechanics.
This video is meant to help you get started in running dungeons, so if you’ve got questions, feel free to ask them in the comments, and if you’re a Destiny veteran, feel free to offer some encouragement and tips too! First we’ll talk about all of the different dungeons and what pass or expansion in Destiny’s convoluted system you need to play it. Then we’ll talk about their difficulties and break down which ones will be easiest to learn. Finally, we’ll talk about actually finding a group and some general tips.
